Human Resources Director

Job Description

Reporting to the President, the Human Resources Director ensures the sustainable development of the organization and acts as a strategic partner to leadership. The role involves structuring the HR function, supporting company growth, and actively contributing to the evolution of the organizational culture. It also includes implementing tools, practices, and governance frameworks that promote people-centered management, high performance, and alignment with EcoloPharm’s mission.

Strategic Advisory and Leadership

  • Define the HR vision in alignment with the business strategy.
  • Analyze people-related challenges linked to growth and recommend strategic actions.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses for HR initiatives to guide priorities.
  • Develop indicators to track organizational performance.
  • Develop and monitor the HR budget.
  • Actively participate in the executive committee and support strategic decision-making.

Organizational Development

  • Design and ensure the evolution of the organizational structure.
  • Clarify roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities to improve operational efficiency.
  • Support managers in their leadership and management responsibilities.
  • Plan and lead change management initiatives.
  • Cultivate and sustain the EcoloPharm culture throughout the organization.

Skills Development

  • Define the overall talent development strategy.
  • Implement succession planning for critical roles.
  • Develop career pathways that encourage internal mobility.
  • Design and deploy leadership development programs for managers.
  • Develop and implement the organizational training plan.

Talent Attraction and Recruitment

  • Develop the talent attraction and retention strategy.
  • Strengthen and promote the EcoloPharm employer brand.
  • Implement a compensation strategy that supports competitiveness and talent attraction.
  • Validate key profiles and competencies required for growth.
  • Actively participate in recruiting executive and strategic positions.


HR Governance

  • Develop and approve HR policies and programs.
  • Define and maintain the organization’s disciplinary framework.
  • Implement and optimize the performance management framework.
  • Design and deploy employee recognition programs.
  • Develop and oversee the governance of the overall compensation structure.
  • Guide labor relations to foster a healthy and collaborative workplace climate.

Profile

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in human resources, including 3 to 5 years in a strategic or leadership role.
  • Collaborative and mobilizing leadership style.
  • Strong ability to support change and develop managers.
  • Strategic mindset with a results-oriented approach.
  • Excellent communication skills (French/English).
